MTAN WORLD DMCA Policy

1. What Is DMCA & Why It Matters

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is a U.S. law (specifically 17 U.S.C. § 512) designed to protect copyright owners by providing a framework for reporting and removing infringing content online.

Even though MTAN WORLD primarily serves a global audience, we adhere to DMCA principles to maintain trust and legal safety, especially regarding copyrighted content (text, images, videos) uploaded or shared via our platform.

2. How to Submit a DMCA Notice

If you believe that content on MTAN WORLD infringes your copyright, please send a written DMCA Notice containing all of the following:

  • Your full name, address, telephone number, and email address.

  • Identification of the copyrighted work(s) you claim has been infringed.

  • Identification of the material you believe is infringing — for example, the URL(s) where the infringing content is located.

  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

  • A statement that the information you provided is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

  • Your electronic or physical signature.

Upon receipt of a valid Notice, MTAN WORLD will review and may remove or disable access to the content deemed infringing.

3. How to Submit a Counter Notice

If content of yours was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a Counter Notice that includes:

  • Your name, address, telephone, email.

  • Identification of the removed content and the location where it appeared before removal.

  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed due to mistake or misidentification.

  • Consent to jurisdiction (if applicable) and acceptance of service of process.

  • Your e-signature.

After receiving a valid Counter Notice, MTAN WORLD may restore the removed content within a reasonable timeframe, provided no further legal obstacle exists.

4. Repeat Infringer Policy

MTAN WORLD does not tolerate repeated violations of copyright. We define a “repeat infringer” as a person or entity who:

  • Has been subject to two or more valid DMCA Notices; or

  • Has previously submitted infringing content after being warned or after prior removal.

Such users may have their access or privileges terminated, or be blocked from uploading content, based on MTAN WORLD’s discretion.

6. Content Removal & Restoration Process

  • Upon receiving a valid DMCA Notice, MTAN WORLD will expeditiously review the claim and remove or disable access to infringing content when appropriate.

  • We will notify the person who posted the content (if identifiable) that removal has occurred.

  • If a valid Counter Notice is submitted, we may restore content following our review, unless legal constraints prevent it.

  • Timeline: we aim to respond within 7-14 business days after receipt of valid notices.

7. Jurisdiction & Applicable Laws

  • MTAN WORLD operates primarily under [Your Country] laws, but respects international copyright treaties and laws where applicable.
